Starting with why:
Strengthwise Lab was established to tackle a key issue in education - the need for enhanced support for teachers. Our mission is to empower educators, allowing them to develop their personal strengths and skills to thrive in an ever-evolving educational landscape.
As teacher burnout and attrition rates rise, we aim to provide tools that enable educators to remain in the classroom while maintaining their mental well-being and boosting confidence and morale.
Our workshops are grounded in strengths education and growth mindset principles. By focusing on strengths rather than weaknesses, teacher confidence increases leading to a more positive learning environment and improved relationships with colleagues, students, parents, and the community. Strengthwise Lab does this in a way that gives back to educators without adding more to their already full plates.
Our Process
We utilize Gallup’s CliftonStrengths assessment to help all participants identify their top 5 strengths. With the assessment comes access to Gallup’s website and resources for further learning and insight.
With all data collected, we collaborate with schools to create a customized program to meet the unique needs of the institution. Administrators receive a visual representation of the strengths of each individual as well as the areas in which the team is collectively talented. With guidance, this powerful tool sets leaders up for success and enables them to intentionally and effectively leverage the unique strengths of team members.
Our initial workshop involves a thorough review of the assessment, with each participant receiving a personalized printed report. This interactive session fosters understanding and appreciation among individuals and within the team. Participants recognize themselves as integral parts of a unique whole and gain insight into the talents of their colleagues.
Following the initial workshop, we follow a structured pathway to developing strong and confident educators and alignment and cohesion within the team. Our programs can be tailored to fit your professional development requirements and time constraints.
